Paper format rules

  • The abstract should have just one paragraph and contain information related to the Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
  • The maximum length of the body of the abstract is 3,500 characters with spaces.

ATTENTION, AUTHORS: Abstracts can be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English. They should be submitted through an on-line form accessed at your restricted area after you have registered for the meeting; the system will inform you how to submit your abstract showing you all fields that must be filled out.

Check your paper and the requested information before you submit them in order to prevent any errors because adjustment in the abstract and inclusion of additional authors will not be allowed after the review process is over.

For submission, click SUBMIT PAPER entering your e-mail address and password (entered at the time of your registration) following all the steps for abstract submission.

Oral presentation: the best papers will be included in the official program in the panel discussion on the paper subject.

Rules for paper presentation format
Poster format
Poster dimensions should be 90 cm wide by 120 cm tall and should be in the banner format (posters outside standard dimensions may not be allowed to be displayed).

The fonts should be readable from a distance of two meters.

The organizers are responsible for providing the materials for poster mounting and display.

Poster presenters are responsible for mounting and removing posters from the display area. The first and second lines should contain, at the center, the paper title (informative and brief, written in upper case and bold letters); the underlined name(s) of the author(s) and presenter, their respective organization(s) and the e-mail address of the first author or of one of the authors in parentheses.

Mention to funding agencies should be made at the end of the text.

POSTER STRUCTURE: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion and References.

MOUNTING AND PRESENTATION: Posters should be displayed during the scheduled presentation time and removed only after the presentation time is over. Authors should remain at the site throughout the scheduled day and time.


Oral presentation format
For the oral presentation presenters should use PowerPoint or similar software. The author should test the presentation and bring the file in at least two different media.

Papers will be reviewed and judged according to the following criteria:

strict use of the time allocated for the presentation;
posture, presentation skills, resources and strategies.

The following equipment will be available for the presentation: one computer, multimedia projector and a projection screen; other equipment or tools should be provided by the presenter.
